Paris gets the internet
Paris has just gotten it’s own site in our loving little Metroblogging family. You should really go and check it out to test your high school level french, though at least half of the entries are in English.
I lived in Amiens, which is about an hour north of Paris by train, for several months years ago. Ameins was a bit too sleepy for me, but I got to spend about eight days in Paris and loved it. A few summers ago I got to go back and spend a few more days and the city is great. It’s one of the few places, along wtih London and New York, where I’ve found the totally cliche tourist traps, buildings and sights are actually pretty fun.
Now time for my own bad high school french.
Bonjour Paris, je voudrais pour vous accueillir
