It’s Raining, It’s Pouring, This Blogger Is …

sn71892_90.gif… you were thinking “boring,” weren’t you? Shame!

Anyway, I was listening to CBC just now, and they were talking about tomorrow’s weather: rain, as usual.

Then they jokingly said in an aside that it has rained every day here since December 23. Can this be true? A trip to Environment Canada’s Web site shows that it’s even worse than that — there has been rain every day since December 18th — though we did have three hours of mainly clear skies after dark on Dec. 27. Yeah, those were great, weren’t they?

Surprisingly, the only site I’ve found that seems to track recent Vancouver rainfall in an easy to view chart format is the U.S. government. Flickr photos of Vancouver seem particularly sodden as of late, too. WXNation has many weather Web cams if for some reason you can’t look out your own window at the gray sky blanket…

Oh, and if this isn’t a long enough stretch of skywater for you, Weather.com says we’re going to have rain for at least the next ten days, and the U.S. site says we’re still below the amount of rain we SHOULD be getting. Flippers, anyone?
