That’s right all you fans of Scottish sad bastard music Belle and Sebastian are coming to the Commodore Ballroom on March 24th [b&s], that’s one night before they hit Seattle’s Paramount for a doublebill with Vancouver’s The New Pornographers [mbs].

My question is why isn’t that fantastic double bill of indie goodness playing in Vancouver? Well actually there is a chance it is, since I can’t find any information either from the Commodore or The New Pornographers’ website about what’s going on in March. The Commodore makes no mention of the show, including Belle and Sebastian’s being booked there, and The New Pornographers’ site makes no mention of their Seattle show.

So cross your fingers and we may get this amazing twinbill, or cross the border and share with our Seattle friends in the shoe gazing love.
