The offical numbers for Sunday say there was no rain.

That’s the nature of technical weather records sometimes: clear, sunny Saturday technically recorded 0.2 mm, but Sunday, which seemed to be rainy everywhere and for a few hours, was apparently clear at the airport, at least from 10pm to 10pm (which the radio tells me is the start of the official meteorological day).

So no record, not even a tie, just a prediction of rain for the rest of the week. My cousin and his wife just had a baby. It has rained every day but one of that baby’s life.

Oh well, this is Vancouver. If you can’t take the rain, try the prairies.
