Our Best and Worst in January
For mostly vain reasons, I’ve decided to pick out some of the better and worser work we have done on this site in the previous 31 days. Readers are encouraged to disagree or nominate other moments of pride and shame in the comments.
Regional Assembly of Text suggested the shop I most want to check out now. And when a manly guy like me, who lists among his hobbies “being married to a woman,” “cutting timber,” and “working on my own car,” says that about a stationery and notions shop, you know it’s either a good shop or a good posting.
YVR’s Best Kept Secret made me want to fly to Portland and back right away. Then I remembered that I’m lazy and cheap, and consoled myself that his photos were the next best thing to being there. YVR, not Portland.
Jeffery being pruriently entertained by yoga was, um, well, it made me want to go to Oakridge is all I’m going to say in case my wife reads this.
Of course, all my posts were awesome, but Matt says he likes my favourite sculpture the best. To which I say to Matt: get your own favourite sculpture! I hear the fibreglass bear at Dunsmuir and Granville is lonely.
Ahem. In the future, our plans for making all other Vancouver blogs unnecessary include more photos and fewer spalling errors [is that right? -Ed it passed my spall-checker...].
