Restaurants with Menu Challenges

You Knew It Would End Like This

So, it came up at tonight’s in-person meeting that Ryan Cousineau is hungry for a challenge. Specifically, he’d like to find a restaurant here in Vancouver that has some sort of “big food” competition, something like:
* a multi-pound burger
* a family-sized burrito
* The “Pig in a Poke” contest from National Lampoon’s European Vacation

So, if you have any ideas about restaurants that have, shall we say, menu challenges, share ’em in the comments. (All-you-can-eat sushi is wonderful, but doesn’t count, because I’ve tried that and I can personally attest that there are no winners in all-you-can-eat sushi.)

    It’s true: I’m up for a big eating challenge. I don’t know why, but it’s one of those rare food concepts that Vancouver doesn’t do well. That and Mexican food, which is spotty at best.
