Despite the fact that every newspaper in Canada, nay every reporter, is under the impression that Wayne Gretzky’s limited involvement in a scandal is still the most important story in the nation [cbc] I think what all Canadians are more interested in is actually seeing some of the Mens hockey and winning the gold. If the New Jersey State Troopers get in the way of that then I think we might just have to burn down the White House [mbw] again and then free Gretzky.

In fact I would like to take this oppertunity to trade mark the slogan “Free Gretzky” for t-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads and everything else that Cafe Press sells. You start selling these items I want a cut.

Back to hockey the team looks solid [cbc] and though there’s more competition in the mens’ sport than there is in the womens’, I’m confident that Canada should prevail. I hope. And if we don’t let’s not trash the hotel rooms of Italy, let’s hope in our cars and burn down the White House.
