Golden Age Comics, originally uploaded by Jeffery Simpson.

I am a geek. I read comics. The place I like to go to buy my comics is Golden Age on Granville. One day a week I walk down there and buy my comics, and then find a place to eat and read them on my way back.

Golden Age is actually really good. I’ve had a pull list (they call it a save file) there for about six months now and they’ve never missed an issue.

Now if only they could remember my last name.

We must have a conversation on the ones you collect. I used to be avid about buying comics, but I really dropped out of it since moving to Vancouver because it’s just too expensive. (Most of my huge collection is still in Ontario.) I miss it though. I think the last comic I bought was the latest volume of “Blade of the Immortal” - an excellent manga series.
