walk the walk…

Last night the wife and i went downtown to the Paramount and watched Underworld: Evolution. Getting out at 9:30 or so we decided to walk home. We even decided to walk home the long way. Since home is on the Granville Slopes this allowed for us to walk down Burrard St and over the bridge.

It was glorious, if cold. There were beautiful shadows from the Granville Street bridge in the bay at false creek. There was a very pretty-in-the-lights fountain in front of the wall centre. There was a handy bum peeing in a bus shelter in the corner of Burrard and Davie. You know all the cool things.

Did i mention it was cold. Although the good ole Canadian brewery sign told us it was 2 deg, the ice in the puddles on the street only 3 blocks away indicated it might have been a little cooler. But that doesn`t matter so much cause i got to dance along the street making all the ice crack and splinter.

it was a beautiful walk
