Power Outages

I just got a text message from my husband saying that the power around his work near Cambie & Broadway is out. He says the power lines are down. I mentioned it to someone here at my work in North Vancouver, and he told me that it’s out in Burnaby as well. I blame this nasty wind that’s buffeting at the doors and windows beside me. The eagle I can see flying from here seems to be enjoying the drafts, however.

I haven’t seen any updates on the situation yet online about what’s going on, so for now I’ll blame the wind.

I’m from the Okanagan, and the power went out here on Friday for 30 minutes. It affected Kelowna, Vernon, and Salmon Arm.

What would we do if the power went out for a week?
