It’s been years since I’ve been to the Stanley Park aquarium, despite the fact that I live as close physically to the watery zoo as one can without being a type of fish.

Since I’m going to be moving away from Stanley Park I’ve been considering going to the aquarium this month and checking it out. I tried to convince Lydia to go, but she scolded me saying that it was cruel. I argued that not visiting the animals were cruel, and that if I were captured and put in a swiming pool I hoped that she’d be nice enough to come and watch me floating about at least once.

Still my logic did not prevail and she refuses to go.

So then the question is, is the Vancouver aquarium still worth a visit? Has it gotten so run down and depressing that it’ll simply make me curl up into a fetal ball and weep? I need answers damn you, answers.

In no way is it depressing. It is the awesome. The otters alone are worth the trip, and I like the Amazon exhibit.
