Via the Vancouverite [van] I found this Reuters story [rt] about a recent study on the quality of life that found that Vancouver was the world’s third best city to live in after Zurich and Geneva. Not having been to either of those European spots, I can’t say whether or not Vancouver should be higher but currently the only other city I’d want to live in would be London (UK not Ontario) and then only to watch Arsenal.

The Reuters story noted that, “Mercer bases its annual survey on 39 quality-of-life factors, from political stability to schools, bars, restaurants and the environment.”

The entire list is here [ime].
