Free Cedar Trees (or by donation)
Jay Park used our suggest-o-matic to publicize a most unusual freebie: 10,000 cedar trees.
It seems his friend Justin serendipitously got a line on that many cedar seedlings that needed a new home. That led him to, er, adopt them.
Having found homes for about 1400-and-a-bit trees so far, he’s looking for loving homes for a few thousand more of his arboreal orphans.
But wait, there’s more.
Justin is also looking for donations. There’s no obligation attached to adopting a tree, but as it happens, our hero could use some cash because someone stole his handbike, and those things aren’t cheap.
So, if you could use a cedar tree or two, or two hundred, go see Justin. He’s not far from Granville Island. Get some trees, make your neighbourhood a nicer place to live, and maybe put some wheels under this guy.
