Blogathon
Every year there is a Blogathon that is held. It is similar to the 24 Hour Charity Relay except it is held completely online. In similar fashion you’ll need to collect pledges and the money you raise will go towards the charity of your choice.
Although this event is normally worldwide it would be great to see some Vancouver bloggers participate in this event. The idea is to stay up for 24 hours on Saturday July 29 starting at 9:00AM EST and blog for your charity by posting every 30 minutes.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to participate in it this year, however if you run a local blog and are going to participate in addition to registering at the official site make sure to leave a comment here. I’ll keep a running list on this post so people can check it out July 29th for all the locals.
Perhaps with the influx of new authors on this blog we can band together and do it relay style on Vancouver Metblogs with all of us participating to support a local charity.
