Unfortunately my only Whitecaps[wc] experience was way back in the pre-86er’s era, when they were the original Whitecaps. For those who know the Whitecaps well and those (like me) who wish they did - this week would be a great time to check out the local soccer action.

My sister brought The Nation’s Cup [wc] to my attention after her friend in Wales said one of their teams will be coming to Vancouver this summer.

July 19, 21 and 23rd the Whitecaps play host to teams from China, India and Cardiff City. It’s an international tournament the likes of which we hope to play host to in the future, especially with that fancy new stadium being the Whitecaps’ new home in the coming years eh.[met]
