Cirque du Soleil is in tents

Get it? In tents. Say it aloud and trust me you’ll enjoy the audio cleverness that my post title contains. Anyway last night as part of a work thing I went with my girlfriend to Cirque du Soleil [cds [3]] which has spent the last few weeks in giant ass tents beside Science World.
Now if you’ve been considering going to Cirque du Soleil I can not personally recommend it, but then again in a group of around thirty people that we went with I was one of only two people who did not like it. So you have a 28/30 chance of loving it and finding it both magical and whimsically enthralling.
Vegas doesn’t offer odds that good.
It’s pretty much what you would expect, a lot of colourful costumes and amazing leaping and spinning on ropes with a sort of world music vibe. It’s really amazing what the performers can do, though at least a quarter of the show has to be in violation of some child labour law or another.
