Don Stewart at the Civic Plaza, North Vancouver, 4 August

Don Stewart and his five-piece band finished off North Vancouver‘s 2006 Summer in the City Concert Series with some easy-on-the-ears Motown & Jazz.

(Overheard: “I don’t really like reggae.” Well, lucky you; you weren’t listening to it.)

As with previous concerts, this was looked forward to (with the deckchair force making their land claims early), and a hit particularly with children, who danced and clambered all over benches and the walls of the central fountain.

This ends my series of entries on the topic. The saga is complete.
