Along my twice daily walk: along Cordova to Canada Place Skytrain
I took this photo while on my twice-a-day walk to and from the Skytrain station at Canada Place. Previously I had a walk to Burrard Station but after about a year of that and a move I’ve switched to the new and improved walk along Cordova.
It’s beginning to get a tad boring, and the fact is it takes almost half an hour to complete, which added onto my thirty minutes on the actual Skytrain gets me about an hour commute out to Burnaby. All of which hopefully will end when I’m allowed to transfer from Metrotown to our downtown store.
Until then twice daily I’ll be walking along Cordova with my headphones in and my iPod playing a podcast or the latest tunes. An hour commute isn’t that bad, at least not compared with driving out to Burnaby. Now that would get tedious.

Over the last 3 years my commute went from an hour to/from Surrey, to 25 mins to/from Kits, to 15 minutes to/from the West End. Pretty soon I’ll be sleeping at my desk.
The walk goes by fast and since I pass through FOUR construction sites along the way, the view is ever-changing.
