The Skytrain driving me to drive: since 2006
Translink is doing work on the Skytrain track this weekend, and either didn’t tell anyone or I just missed the memo. Service east bound was delayed with trains leaving about ever fifteen minutes. It was lucky I decided to leave for work early yesterday. Going west from Metrotown the trains were packed to the gills yesterday, and those gills can be packed, since each train had to deal with the amount of traffic of two or three regular rides.
Deciding not to bother with that bullshit today I drove to work. Which might be a step back from my new and approved attempt at a semi-active lifestyle [jks].

I have some photos of the track maintenance at

It was pretty intense, with SkyTrain staff hovering around Broadway and Main St.-Science World Stations, telling people that two trains would be going in one direction, then two would come in the other direction. All full around 5 PM on Sunday, at least the ones heading towards King George.
