Awareness Month #11
Whether it’s for Vegetarians, Water Safety, Breast Cancer, Autism, Homelessness… (etc.) there’s always something to be aware of these days and plenty of activities in support of the causes.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month and the Canadian Diabetes Association is urgently calling on Canadians - especially baby boomers - to get serious about diabetes. [Diabetes.ca]
A website has been setup to answer questions and inform about the disease, GetSerious.ca.
The diabetes communities of more than 150 countries are united in what is both a targeted campaign to raise awareness of diabetes and its complications and a celebration of the lives of people with diabetes everywhere.
World Diabetes Day is November 14th.
Check for fundraising events going on in your community. The Tri-Cities have already hosted several [tricitynews] in October but there’s also the upcoming (annual) Loverboy concert to benefit Juvenile Diabetes, on November 11th - Rockin’ for Research.
Update: It’s also Adoption Awareness Month
