Metroblogging Vancouver

It was one year ago today that Metroblogging Vancouver launched. We had our first post [mbv] and though we kept everything hush, hush for a few days before our larger public launch we were off and running. It’s been a really fun year for me, and I’m glad to have met a lot of the great bloggers not just who write here but who represent Vancouver across the web on their own blogs.

I’m looking forward to another year of MB Vancouver, and hopefully we can keep things fresh and stay not only one of the best sites in the Metroblogging network [mb] but also one of the best sites about Vancouver out there. The only reason I don’t automatically declare ourselves the best ever is because there were a lot of great sites up before we got here, like Urban Vancouver [uv] and Beyond Robson [br] and a few to come to the party after we started like The Vancouverite [tv].
