The new year has barely started and already so many things planned! The third time is a charm right? Well it’s the third year for Northern Voice which is a conference for personal bloggers. This year it’s at the main UBC campus held over two days. Feb 23-24. It’ll be $50 for both days which is peanuts if you compare it to other conferences.

This is probably one of the more affordable and friendly conferences out there. So all of you quietly lurking around with the blogs should check it out. It’s friendly and certainly not intimidating even if you consider yourself a total newbie to the whole “blog” thing.

The hosts for Northern Voice this year are: Darren Barefoot, Kris Krug, Brian Lamb, Cyprien Lomas, Boris Mann, James Sherret, Julie Szabo, Roland Tanglao, Lauren Wood and of course some of you may remember Travis Smith who has contributed to this very blog in the past.

That’s a bunch of cool people to talk to and to hear from. The topic they’ll be covering will generally focus around blogging, however as they mention on their site it can go as far as what bloggers are into (which is basically saying it could go anywhere).
