It’s been over a year since I first posted about trying to find a place to get my haircut and I’ve still not been able to find a regular hairdresser [mbv]. Oh I’ve gotten my haircut, don’t worry about that, but I’ve ended up going to a different one every time, including to every salon in Metrotown when I worked in that mega-mall.

Axis and Jack were both suggested in the comments on that post, and I have to admit I’ve yet to try either. Getting my hair cut is just something I tend to fit in, squishing it into my packed schedule between the beekeeping and practicing my Edgar Allan Poe impersonation. So I’m hoping for something downtown, since that’s where I work and live.

I’ll keep you abreast of all the ridiculously bad haircuts I end up getting as I try out new places until I find that one perfect salon that’s both not insanely expensive and doesn’t just shave my head.

In truth though I do wish I could manage Chris Murphy’s hair, it is some kind of wonderful.
