Cherry Blossom Season

There’s plenty of events to attend, and the festival website has a calendar.

Last year, I went to the Vancouver Mokuyokai Society’s Ohanami at UBC’s Nitobe Garden, and I highly recommend the experience. Sign up, get a bento box, and be sure to book attendance at one of the formal tea services.

Here’s another nice blossom photo I’ve dug out of the Metroblogging Vancouver photo pool; there’s plenty more:

I have to thank all of you that have put stuff in our pool. It’s great fun to take a dip in there and find so many lovely images of Vancouver.
