Trailer Park Boys will be here on Monday!
I stopped by Chapters yesterday when I saw a Trailer Park Boys book in the window. I picked one up for my husband and when I was paying, the cashier told me the boyz will be at the store on Monday, April 2nd at 2:00 pm. They are letting people line up only 10 minutes in advance and then giving out wrist bands. They will only sign books bought in the store. If you bought the book early, be sure to keep the receipt. They’ll be checking for that.

Well, that totally stank. They lined people up at 2:00 to get wristbands, but, you have to stay in line the whole time until they really come to sign at 4:00. I’m totally disappointed. I had to leave to go back to work. I thought I could get a wristband and come back. Denied. They said the point of the wristband is to guarantee their signatures, not a place in line. Chapters stinks.
The whole event was a money sucking “BIG DIRTY”. Love the boys, but it was a cheesy event. Stood in line for an hour and a half (@ the Winnipeg event) and they didn’t even look up from the table to see who they were signing the book for. Told to “hurry up” by event staff after dishing out 25 bucks and waiting in line for an hour and a half too. Big Dirty by Chapters.
