One of us is a Wired Sexiest Geek of 2007. Don’t worry it isn’t me.
I was catching up on my Fake Steve Jobs reading [fsj] when I followed a link to an article on Wired about the Sexiest Geeks of 2007 [wm], largely of course to see if I made the list. Apparently I was not sexified enough last year, but fellow Metroblogging Vancouver author and ruler of the Miss604 domain name [m604] Rebecca Bollwitt was.
Indeed right now based on reader votes she’s at number 4, below Olivia Munn whose host of Attack of the Show and above Danica McKellar who we all remember from Wonder Years.
Rebecca’s bio on the voting site reads:
As an erstwhile and once again Vancouver resident, Rebecca Bollwitt studiously documents the goings-on of the city’s burgeoning metropolitan and digerati scenes. As a result she’s developed quite a following among the local geek crowd, and bloggers in general. Her smart and sassy writing style combined with her penchant for wearing way-too small geek shirts makes Miss604 a must-read, and her honest-to-god technology credentials give her the chops to go a few rounds with the best of ‘em.
According to Rebecca’s post on the subject [m604] Todd Maffin of the CBC is also nominated though I couldn’t find him.
