Well I'm glad I annoy real Canucks fans if you have to be a Sunshine Mary like you seem to be. Gillis is a GM with no experiance and the Canucks hiring him was a sign that they're not serious about running this as a winning team.

Let's face it the Canucks are going to sell out no matter how shit they play. It's Vancouver, and we'll put up with a lot. They should have hired a GM with experiance who could either retool the team into a winning one or raze it and rebuild for two or three years down the road.

I suppose you haven't been reading the site, or didn't bother to see what I've written before, because I have pointed out that the Canucks need grit and determination. But Bernier isn't enough, and you can't just add grit while you let go of skill.

They should have gotten a Ryan Smyth type of player years ago, held onto some of the star players and went from there. Instead he's losing them to free agency instead of trying to re-sign them and trade them (getting something for them). The one big deal he had going on he just talked about it, and then it didn't happen.

He's all hat and no cattle, as they say.

Sorry you find me annoying. Hopefully the shitty season we've got to look forward to will cheer you up.

Okay do you know anything about hockey? You are one of the annoying bandwagon fans that this city is filled with. Reading your Top 5 list of why its going to be a bad year for the fans. I think Gillis has made all the right moves so far especially with the addition of toughness and grit and the trade with Buffalo to get Bernier. You obviously don't know much about the sport and there is still time left for Gillis to make the team even better. I think fans have a lot to look forward to and people like you annoy real Vancouver Canuck fans.
