Vancouver Billboard Czars Say No Go to PETA and Pam
Vancouver’s billboard duopoly has rejected a PETA ad that features Pamela Anderson denouncing KFC. Both Viacom and Pattison Outdoor, the city’s two billboard space providers, declined to run the ad. PETA says it’s because the companies are afraid of losing their chunk of the fast food giant’s multi million dollar annual advertising budget. I think they’re just afraid of the potential lawsuits that will result when adolescent male drivers crash while distracted by the billboard.
