Fish and Chips

There are two places in the Lower Mainland that serve the best fish in chips, in my humble opinion:

At Steveston in Richmond, drop on by to Jakes – a nice little restaraunt on the pier. I took my neice and nephew there the first week they immigrated from the Philippines. Needless to say that they are Fish and Chip freaks too. While you’re there, buy some fresh seafood from the fishmongers on the docks. You can’t get any fresher than that!

Second place – Pajos at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.

If you can’t make the drive all the way to Richmond, drop on by to Rockey point park in the summer. Prices are reasonable and you can’t beat the view of the Inlet around Port Moody. Nice place to hang out in the summer. Bring along a soccer ball and play with your kids on the huge field! You can then work off the oil and fat from all that greasy goodness!

Yong Sa: testify! Pajo’s is a wonderful place.

But beware the geese. Nasty, nasty geese. I cannot forgive the geese for the time they made me spill my Pajo’s fries. Horrible geese.
