Sustainability and You

Spring colours Coming up this weekend as part of the 30 Days of Sustainability, is the Sustainability and You Marketplace It runs from Friday until Sunday afternoon, and is located at UBC Robson Square.

“Join us for three days of free events and activities. The focus of this ‘conscious consumer show’ will be on the practical choices we all face in our daily lives: food, clothing, shelter, transportation, and energy. These choices will be explored by exhibitors, speakers, films, musicians, and a thought-provoking, future-friendly design exhibit.”

The website doesn’t seem to have any specific information about the event, but I do know there will be a Farmer’s Market tent on site showcasing the work of local artisans. The photo I have included with this entry features the weaving by textile artist Sarah Mackinnon, who will be participating in the fair.
