Chocoatl Chocolatiers

I think I may have found THE destination for chocolate lovers today, which is very fitting given that it’s the Easter Long weekend. The place is called Chocoatl Chocolatiers, and it’s located in Yaletown. My friends and I dropped by for a recharge after a long day of wandering and showing my sister around the city.

The cafe opened at the end of March to excellent reviews, and I can understand why given the tastiness of the drink I had. They serve really really good hot chocolate (as well as coffee, but I didn’t try that), two different ways. Infusion-style chocolate drinks come in a selection of flavours like roses, spicy, lavender, and a few others I didn’t take note of. The Origin-style drinks are regular hot chocolates made from one of the fifteen varieties of chocolate carried by Chocoatl mixed with either milk, soya milk or water. They also carry a delicious looking variety of handmade chocolates (pictured above), all made on site from fresh ingredients.

Oh dear. Stuff like this is why I read the metblog. Well, that and the fact that I’m one of the posters, and it would be unseemly to duplicate posts :)

But seriously, good find. I’ll check it out very soon.

Definately check it out when you get the chance, and let me know about the chocolates.
