It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a sinkhole!

The new urban development in a shady corner of Port Moody, at the corner of Ioco Rd and Murray St, already previously under fire for eliminating a natural wetland for the Burrard Inlet tidal pools and displacing a species of frogs, has now earned itself public recognition in another way: Saturday, the edge of the dig partially caved in, damaging part of Murray St.

It appears that the damage to the street was minor, but did partially block traffic on Murray for most of the weekend.
