** Amber Alert ** – One year old child missing

DELTA/CKNW(AM980) – Police have issued an Amber Alert after a one year old child went missing from her home.
It’s believed the girl’s father took her while she was with a baby sitter.Police fear for her safety due to drug use by the suspect.
He is John William Martin, six feet-two inches, 161 pounds. He’s Caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes and a freckled complexion.
Police are looking for a green 1998 Chevy Malibu sedan, BC licence plate 317-GTK.

This has been called off – they found the man (and the baby) in Red Deer this morning, thank goodness CKNW Story
Looks like they just caught him in Red Deer, AB. That’s quite a distance to go, considering this morning they figured he would have only made it to Eastern BC. CBC article
